A 4-6kg salt lamp. Each piece is shaped by hand, not moulded. It comes from the Khewra Salt Mine in Punjab, Pakistan. Most Himalayan salt runs pink to orange because of the iron in it. This piece comes from a low-iron seam instead, so the light reads pale and almost frosted rather than fiery.
The lighter tone throws a gentle rose-amber warmth that suits a minimal or Scandi-leaning room better than the deeper orange of a standard pink lamp. No two pieces come out quite the same, since it starts as a natural mineral, not a cast shape.
