Details
Loose chunks of rock salt sit inside a wire cage wooden holder rather than being carved into one solid block. Because each piece is natural rock rather than a mould, colour and veining shift slightly from one to the next.
Lit from within, the gaps between the chunks let light spill out unevenly, giving a warm amber light with more flicker and texture than a solid lamp. It's quarried in the Salt Range of Punjab.
