A block of rock salt cut into an angel outline. It's mined at Khewra, in the foothills of the Salt Range. It's a decorative cut rather than a plain block, so it doubles as an ornament with the lamp switched off.
Lit, it gives off a gentle rose-amber warmth through the thinner carved edges. Expect small differences in tone and pattern between pieces; that's the mineral, not a flaw.
