A 2-3kg salt lamp. It's worked by hand, piece by piece. It's quarried in the Salt Range of Punjab. Most Himalayan salt runs pink to orange because of the iron in it. This piece comes from a low-iron seam instead, so the light reads pale and almost frosted rather than fiery.
The lighter tone throws a soft, fire-lit warmth that suits a minimal or Scandi-leaning room better than the deeper orange of a standard pink lamp. Being cut from real rock rather than moulded, the shape and markings are never identical twice.
